Harvested in the cool night air to capture maximum
freshness, the fruit was cool-fermented in stainless steel, with
fermentation halted early to preserve natural sweetness and
fruit clarity. The final blend was then stabilised and gently
filtered prior to bottling.
VINTAGE
Vintage 2026 saw an early and fast-moving harvest across the region. Warm seasonal conditions accelerated ripening across multiple varieties, resulting in a concentrated harvest period and fruit being carefully selected at optimum ripeness. As a result, the wines show bright varietal character, with lively, spicy reds and vibrant, aromatic whites.

In the early 1900s Don and Ethel Forbes started a new chapter in their story, staking their familyās future on a 600 acre block of land nestled within a large sweeping bend of the mighty Murray River.
Today, the Zilzie Winery stands on Selection 23 and we remember our journey from the very first boots, and each generation that has followed since to carve their own path.
